The AVB Networking Conference 2012 will be hosted and co-sponsored by a number of best-in-class professional audio manufacturers, all of which have AVB-capable devices on the market today. Supported by Systems Contractor News, the applications-based event will coincide with InfoComm12 and aim to educate consultants, integrators and system designers alike on how the now-available AVB technology can simplify audio system design and maintenance.
Over the course of the session, we will explore how AVB applies to both end-point devices and switched networks, and educate on the capabilities of AVB technology and how it applies to real-world system design today.
Who is hosting the event?
Representatives from Avid, Biamp Systems, Harman, Lab X Technologies, Meyer Sound and Riedel Communications will host the day. In addition, they will be joined by a number of guest speakers and experts in their fields, including Ethernet switch manufacturers Extreme Networks. All seven participating companies are well-known in the promotion of the AVB technologies as a result of their AVnu Alliance membership and activity. Their common goal of a single open-standard media network and continued commitment to the AVB technology make this unprecedented event possible.
